Summertime is the time for ants in your house. It's horrible.

 

And I especially hate how the second I'm all squeaky clean and smelling nice from my shower, a little ant manages to crawl up my leg and bite me. :B I feel dirty all over again.

So I'm working on this group project for my Asian Studies class and my prof is quite the prick about presentation quality.

We have to make a fine quality DVD to satisfy his tastes. yeah yeah. Luckily I have Stacy in my group who is a whiz with movie editing and stuff, thank goodness right?

Well not quite. She works with a mac, which of course we all know, macs don't support many file types and other weird cords as PCs do. Oh, shocking. :[ Darn macs

Anywho, because my friend Hilda is up to date with technology, she has a fancy minidisc camcorder with touchscreen and everything! Amazing, but macs don't take minidiscs, so of course, I, the second most knowledgeable had to come to the rescue and find the files from the minidisc on my pc. Unfortunately, the filetype of the film is not suitable for macs, yet again >:0

 

In order to solve this, I had to try converting the extremely large wierdass vob file to mov, but it would've taken 4 hours to do so. I risked it, and had to repeat it many many times yet it still didn't work. I then finally figured out how to cut the film into pieces (thankgoodness), and had to save it as a different file to then convert it to mov for Stacy.

 How annoying. All this because of a mac. Take that :[

McDonalds has new Happy Meal toys featuring Hello Kitty! homg

 

So I've had my eye on their toys ever since the last time I went there and noticed that MickyD's carried Hello Kitty toys. They are sooooo cute. I would totally get all of them except for the Glamour kit because who wears rings anyway.

And today when I went back to MickyD's with Stacy and Hilda for lunch and ice cream, this girl left her Hello Kitty toy on the window sill because she obviously didn't want it.

Stacy: homg jen go get it!

Hilda: Jen she left it. Go get it! No wait, the girl is still in the room.

Me: ohhh hello kitty! You guys serious?

Stacy: JEN GO GET IT before someone else does

Meanwhile, a little old black woman comes in and puts her stuff down on the table the girl who left her toy was at.

Stacy: Aww you can't get it anymore

Hilda: Quick! The old woman left. Go get it!

Stacy: Oh no she's back. We can never get it anymore.

Me: aww

 

Then the guy sitting behind and across from us throws his food away, comes back, picks the toy up and puts it on our table.

 

HAHA! How embarrassingly funny.

To whoever he was, thanks. The toy is cuteeeee. :D:D
