Wowowow
So I'm finally hired. I'm a lame ____ stores associate.
Don't want to say much because I'm paranoid and don't want any employer googling my name and finding my blog to read all I have to say about the job. lolface.
All I can say is that I'm the only Asian worker so I feel kinda left out of the group since everyone speaks to each other in Spanish. ugh
But whatever, I can eavesdrop with my limited Spanish skills. lolface. That's why I took the class right? Actually, this one man who bought a million kajillion belts with those darn security tab things to remove said to his wife "blah blah blah despacio." So I couldn't pick up the other words but I hecka know despacio means slow. See all I need to know are adjectives so I can tell when people are talking smack about me. If only I were gutsy enough to say "Perdon, pero yo lo entiendo todo" or some horribly grammar'd crap. Then I would get my ass kicked.
I'm like a heartbreaker or something. This one Korean couple then comes up thinking I'm Korean. Now for some reason, Koreans like to stick together, probably because of all the crap they had to go through in history (as my Asian Studies class would say), but I had to let them down by saying I didn't understand a wordddd they spoke. Poor them.
But I'm not too bad. I made some other Chinese couple happy by speaking to them in their language. Very crappily of course, but I did hear them say I was very "good" as they were leaving. Hooray?
Anyway, after today, I realized how much I hate rugs. Okay. :]

So let's recap, I left my house-y at 10:45 with my friend Eric who magically had an extra ticket--hooray. We were like 2 miles away from the Home Depot Center in Carson trying to get off the exit and ended up staying in traffic for 2 and a half hours.
Extremely long day, and it's true, all the good bands are at the end. :D I finally got to see one of my most favorite bands, Meg & Dia, perform live while getting a cute tote bag from 'em and had it signed by Dia. :D:D yay!
No pictures were taken because I derno, I realized how little I looked at band photographs? Yeah pretty good reason, plus the fact I knew I would somehow mess my camera up if I brought it. :B
Funny though, I asked someone what to wear to this kind of outing, and he said that I should take one look at anyone in Hot Topic, and boy-o, he was right. The entire place was Hot TOpic exploded. I like how everyone there tries to dress differently, but all look the same in the end. I was out of place looking, but oh well. :]
Okays I'm pooped. Still a cool day.
